BLACK+DECKER has launched a new Fire and Carbon Monoxide Detection product range in partnership with Hispec, a leading life safety products provider. The collaboration introduces 18 products under the BLACK+DECKER brand, expanding its offerings in home safety for consumers familiar with its DIY and power tool products.
These devices are available in battery-powered, mains-powered, wireless connected, and standalone configurations. All models comply with UK safety standards and feature straightforward installation and reliable detection technology.

Smith added that the products address increased electronic device usage in households. The devices utilize dual-sensor technology for early fire detection and carbon monoxide monitoring, reducing false alerts and providing complete coverage.

The range includes smoke alarms with 10-year lithium batteries, 5-year replaceable batteries, and mains-powered models with battery backup. Some models feature interconnectivity for coordinated alerts.
