The International Builders’ Show (IBS) 2026 is set for Feb. 17–19 in Orlando, Fla., offering remodelers a first look at industry trends, new tools, and business strategies. The event, hosted by the National Association of Home Builders, includes over 120 education sessions across nine tracks, with 225+ speakers covering topics from design to project management. As the annual “can’t-miss” event for the industry, IBS provides actionable insights through diverse formats tailored to different learning styles, from hands-on demos to in-depth discussions, ensuring attendees gain practical takeaways for their projects and businesses.

This year’s program introduces a new AI & Tech Studio, where attendees can explore the latest in artificial intelligence and construction technology. The space offers interactive experiences and demonstrations of next-gen project management tools, allowing remodelers to test emerging solutions firsthand. The Custom Building and Remodeling track complements this with sessions on design trends, project planning, and client communication, equipping professionals with strategies to refine methods, enhance efficiency, and adapt to evolving market demands.

Two highlight sessions include Wes Crockett of Mahogany Builders leading Practical Strategies to Maximize Remodeling Margins, where he shares frameworks for creating business processes that deliver consistent financial results. Meanwhile, Gregory Woleck of Remodelers Advantage presents Remodeler Pre-construction that Boosts Profits, Clarity & Client Confidence, detailing how to structure pre-construction as a strategic system that aligns budgets, minimizes unexpected issues, and establishes clear client expectations for smoother project execution.

The show also features Remodeling Central, one of several lounge-like networking hubs where peers and experts gather to exchange ideas. These Centrals support informal discussions, specialized seminars, and peer-to-peer learning, with programming focused on trends reshaping home improvement, marketing for high-end remodelers, and a panel on the future of innovation in the field. All registered attendees can access these areas, which also host presentations like the team behind The New American Remodel (TNAR) sharing insights on high-performance remodeling techniques.

One of the event’s main draws is The New American Remodel (TNAR), an official show home in Winter Park, Fla.. The 3,341-square-foot property, originally built in 1951, was revitalized by Phil Kean Design Group with retro Miami-inspired design elements, including a three-bedroom, four-bathroom layout. The home incorporates modern upgrades such as an expansive great room and a multipurpose home office, blending vintage aesthetics with contemporary functionality. It earned NGBS Emerald Level Certification, the highest tier under the National Green Building Standard, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and performance. Tours require tickets, with complimentary shuttle buses running daily from the Orange County Convention Center to accommodate attendees.
